Evangelist Evelyn Turrentine-Agee has come to be known and loved for her
friendly smile, humble attitude and her genuine spirit of love for God, His ways, and His people, in such a way that she was honored with the title “Lady of Light”. This traditional gospel artist has come to be loved by her fans for her contributions in the quartet community, and her industry contemporaries have dubbed her the “Queen of Quartet”. However, her latest CDs demonstrate her versatility and diversified music ministry as they include traditional songs and contemporary songs of praise and worship as well, Evelyn style. Her latest double CD project, There's Gonna Be A Meeting further establishes that she is not only a traditional artist but also a “worshipper”. This project includes one CD of good ‘ole “churchin” traditional music as well as “quartet” style music that her fans have come to know and love her for. The project also includes a second CD featuring Evelyn “praising and worshipping” God in a style that we’ve never seen her before on recording.
This energetic, multifaceted lady wears many hats daily as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker, business owner, evangelist,
